October 16, 2025Changes in Player Status Ahead of Saturday’s Fixture
Guiseley AFC have announced recent developments concerning three players as the team prepares for their upcoming match against Warrington Town in the Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division.
Taylor Bowen Released to Pursue Opportunity Abroad
Striker Taylor Bowen has left Guiseley AFC by mutual agreement, having requested his release to pursue a playing opportunity overseas. Bowen joined the club from Blackpool during the summer and made 13 appearances for the Lions before his departure. The club has expressed best wishes for Bowen’s future career.
Tom Senior Returns to Barnsley Following Loan Spell
Tom Senior’s one-month loan from Barnsley has ended. Senior’s last appearance for Guiseley was in an away match at Bridlington earlier this month. After returning to his parent club, he sustained an injury during training which has prevented him from participating in recent fixtures against Warrington Rylands and Ilkeston Town. Guiseley have extended their good wishes to Senior for his recovery and future endeavours.
Lewis Knight Joins Knaresborough Town on Dual Registration
Forward Lewis Knight has signed a dual registration deal with Knaresborough Town. Knight made his debut for Knaresborough in their recent 1-1 draw with Sheffield FC in North Yorkshire. Knight originally joined Guiseley in the summer after a period away from football due to injuries. He recently returned to form by scoring in the 4-2 victory at Bridlington Town, marking his first touch on the field.
Knight also featured as a substitute in Knaresborough Town’s 4-2 League Cup win over Thackley but was substituted after 15 minutes. Despite this, he remains eligible for selection by Guiseley manager Liam Ridehalgh for forthcoming matches.
