Extended Deadline for Yorkshire & Humber Social Enterprise Awards

Opportunity to recognise social enterprises across the region

The deadline for nominations for the Social Enterprise Yorkshire & Humber (SEYH) Awards 2025 has been extended to 7pm on Friday 9th January 2026. The awards aim to acknowledge the achievements of social enterprises, entrepreneurs, and organisations making a positive impact in Yorkshire and the Humber.

Awards categories

The SEYH Awards cover a variety of categories to reflect the diverse contributions of social enterprises in the region. These include:

• Small Social Enterprise of the Year: For organisations with a turnover under £200,000 demonstrating strong delivery, growth, and innovation.
• Large Social Enterprise of the Year: For enterprises with a turnover over £200,000 showing strategic leadership and measurable impact.
• Social Entrepreneur of the Year: For individuals whose leadership, passion, and commitment are driving real change.
• Start Up Award: For newer social enterprises operating less than two years with a clear vision and growth plan.
• Environmental Award: For organisations making measurable contributions to protecting and improving the environment.
• Social Impact Award: For enterprises that can evidence and communicate clear, measurable outcomes.
• Innovative Use of Tech Award: For enterprises using technology creatively to enhance services, products, or impact.
• Social Investment Award: Recognising both investees and investors driving social change through investment.

Event details and nomination process

The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on Thursday 26th March 2026 at Project House in Leeds. Nominations can be submitted online via the SEYH website.

Entering the awards provides an opportunity for organisations and individuals to raise their profile among funders, peers, and stakeholders, as well as to showcase their innovative practices and social or environmental impact.
