Background and impact
Stay Well This Winter is a long-standing initiative jointly run by Leeds Community Foundation and Leeds City Council Public Health. Over the past 15 years, the programme has awarded nearly 400 grants totalling more than £1 million. These grants have supported almost 32,000 local people to cope with the difficulties associated with cold weather.
The 2025 funding continues this effort to reduce winter-related health risks and social isolation among vulnerable populations in Leeds.
