Guiseley AFC will host Stockton Town at Nethermoor this Saturday in what promises to be an important fixture in the Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division. Following a narrow defeat in their previous match, Guiseley are looking to regain momentum on home turf against a strong Stockton side currently positioned in the play-off places.

Guiseley’s recent form and team news

Manager Ian Richards reflected on the team’s recent 1-0 loss, highlighting a disappointing early goal conceded just seven minutes into the match. Despite the defeat, Richards praised his squad’s overall performance, noting that Guiseley spent much of the game in the opponent’s half and deserved at least a draw.

Richards also confirmed the return of several players to fitness. Full back Ed Devine, signed on loan from Hull City’s Under-21 squad, made his debut recently and is expected to compete for a starting position alongside Archie Christie-Crainie. Midfielders Elliot Owen and Amir Berchil, who missed the last game, are anticipated to be available for selection.
