Striker Kallan Murphy Rejoins Guiseley AFC

Guiseley AFC have confirmed the return of striker Kallan Murphy to the club. The 23-year-old forward re-joins the team two years after his departure to Marine.
Player background and previous spells
Murphy initially played for Guiseley during the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons, making 64 appearances and scoring 10 goals. The Irish-born striker, originally from Wexford, began his football career with Enniscorthy Town before moving to England in 2020 to join Chesterfield’s Academy.
Following his time at Guiseley, Murphy spent periods with several clubs, including Marine, where he was on loan from Prescot Cables, as well as Clipstone FC in Mansfield and Matlock Town during the 2022/23 campaign. After leaving Marine at the end of the 2024/25 season, he signed for Warrington Town but did not feature in their match against Guiseley last season.

Murphy’s return comes ahead of Guiseley’s home fixture against Bury in the Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division, scheduled for 18 August 2026 at 7:45 pm.
