Guiseley AFC Reschedules Alfreton Fixture and Confirms County Cup Opponents

Fixture changes following Emirates FA Cup progress

Guiseley AFC have announced a rearrangement of their upcoming fixture against Alfreton Town, alongside confirmation of their opponents in the West Riding County Cup first round. These changes come after the club’s recent success in the Emirates FA Cup.

Revised date for Alfreton Town match

The match against Alfreton Town at the Impact Arena, originally set for Saturday 19 September 2026, will now take place on Tuesday 29 September 2026, with a 7:45pm kick-off. This adjustment follows Guiseley’s replay victory over Stockton Town in the Emirates FA Cup.

As a result, Guiseley will face Hebburn Town on the original date of 19 September 2026 instead.

Supporters’ travel arrangements

The Guiseley AFC Supporters’ Club is organising a coach for the rescheduled trip to Alfreton. The coach will depart from Nethermoor at 4:30pm on 29 September. The cost is £25 for members and £30 for non-members. Supporters wishing to book a place are advised to contact Paul on 07518 445861.

West Riding County Cup first round details

Guiseley’s first tie of the season in the West Riding County Cup will be against Steeton. The match is scheduled for Tuesday 27 October 2026 at Marley Stadium, with kick-off at 7:45pm. This will be Guiseley’s first competitive match at Marley Stadium.
