One-to-one digital training offered for those with learning difficulties

Advonet, a Leeds-based organisation, is providing free one-to-one digital skills support aimed at individuals who face digital exclusion. This initiative is designed to assist people with learning disabilities, difficulties, or autism to improve their digital capabilities.

Details of the digital skills support

• The support is delivered by trained volunteer ‘Digital Champions’ who have undergone vetting and training to provide personalised assistance.
• Sessions take place at Advonet’s office in Leeds, with scheduling arranged to suit the learner’s availability.
• The training is offered free of charge, with no obligation for participants to enrol in any additional courses.
• The service is funded by the 100% Digital Leeds programme.
