Three defenders scored as Guiseley came from behind to secure a 4-1 win at Nethermoor.

Leek Town took the lead through Lucas Weir in the 23rd minute, but Kallan Murphy’s header just before half-time brought Guiseley level. Second-half goals from Elliot Owen, Lebrun Mbeka and substitute Paul Iggulden completed the win on Tuesday, 3 November.

Guiseley began the match on the attack, with Amir Berchil and Cam Wilson among those to test the visiting defence. Leek goalkeeper Yusuf Mersin dealt with several efforts, while Guiseley’s Jack Hall saved a free-kick from Weir in the 18th minute.

Weir, left unmarked, headed Leek in front five minutes later. Guiseley continued to press, and Mersin made further saves from Jack Emmett and Wilson before Murphy’s close-range header, following a Berchil cross, drew the teams level shortly before the interval.

Guiseley continued their attacking approach after the break. Owen put the home side ahead in the 66th minute, finishing from a corner. Mbeka extended the lead two minutes later, striking into the far corner.

Iggulden, who came on for Berchil in the 82nd minute, scored Guiseley’s fourth a minute later. It was his first goal for the club, according to the match report. Leek had opportunities to respond, including a header from Connor Heath that went wide, while Hayden Campbell’s effort in the 90th minute cleared the bar.
