New Leeds Programme Supports Parents Through Community Groups

Leeds City Council launches Empowering Parents, Empowering Communities initiative

Leeds City Council’s Family First team has introduced a new programme aimed at supporting parents across the city. The initiative, known as EPEC – Empowering Parents, Empowering Communities, is designed to provide guidance and support through community-led sessions.

The programme is delivered by trained volunteers and centres around a course called Being a Parent. This course runs over nine weeks and offers informal and friendly sessions.
