Lucas Odunston Commits to Guiseley for Third Season

Guiseley AFC have confirmed that defender Lucas Odunston has signed a new contract to remain with the club for the 2026/27 season. The 25-year-old right back joined the Lions in July 2024 and has since become a regular fixture in the team.
Player background and recent performances
Odunston began his football career in the youth ranks of Leeds United, where he spent 11 years. He later spent two seasons in Hull City’s academy before moving to Bradford (Park Avenue), where he played for three seasons. In July 2024, he signed for Guiseley on a free transfer from Bradford (Park Avenue).
Since joining Guiseley, Odunston has made 55 appearances over two seasons. During the 2025/26 season, he featured in 34 matches, missing only two games following the appointment of manager Ian Richards in November 2025. His consistent performances at right back have made him a key player for the club.

With his new contract secured, Odunston aims to add to his appearance tally for Guiseley in the upcoming season. The club’s retained list for the 2026/27 campaign is expected to be announced shortly.
