Pre-season fixture set for July at Nethermoor

Guiseley AFC has confirmed that Stocksbridge Park Steels will visit Nethermoor for a pre-season friendly match scheduled for Friday, 17 July 2026. The game will kick off at 7:30pm.

Previous encounters between the clubs

Last season, Guiseley and Stocksbridge Park Steels met twice in competitive fixtures. The first meeting at Nethermoor ended in a 1-1 draw. Stocksbridge took an early lead through Oliwier Grzelak, a former Guiseley player, scoring in the first minute. Guiseley’s Lebrun Mbeka equalised later in the match.

The return fixture took place at Bracken Moor on New Year’s Day, where Guiseley secured a 3-1 victory. Elliot Owen scored twice, and Archie Christie-Crainie added a late goal during injury time. The match was notable as it marked Ian Richards’ return to Bracken Moor, where he helped Guiseley claim all three points.
