Guiseley AFC has confirmed the signing of 20-year-old centre back Paul Iggulden ahead of the upcoming season. Iggulden, who previously spent time on loan at Stocksbridge Park Steels from Hull City, will now join Guiseley on a permanent basis.

Player Background and Career

Paul Iggulden began his football career in the youth system at Hull City. After being released by Hull City in 2025, he joined Stocksbridge Park Steels, initially on loan and then permanently. During his time at Stocksbridge, Iggulden made over 70 appearances, including 31 in the 2024/25 season.

Defensive Partnership and Playing Style

Iggulden is known for his defensive capabilities and his commitment to fundamental defending. At Stocksbridge, he formed a strong defensive partnership with teammate Elliot Owen, contributing to 24 clean sheets during their promotion-winning season.
