Local artist supports motor neurone disease charities with limited-edition artwork

Paul Fulcher, a fine pencil artist from Peterborough, has produced a limited-edition print featuring former rugby league players Rob Burrow and Kevin Sinfield. The artwork aims to raise funds for the Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease and the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Artist background and inspiration

Known as Pif among friends, Paul Fulcher has been practising art for over 30 years. He has created hundreds of commissioned pieces for family, friends, and celebrities. His previous charitable efforts through art have raised more than £40,000 for various causes.

Fulcher is recognised for the meticulous detail and time he dedicates to his work, often spending between 200 and 300 hours on a single original drawing. His latest piece was inspired by a poignant moment during the inaugural Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon, where Kevin Sinfield carried Rob Burrow across the finish line. Fulcher captured this scene in a hyper-realistic line drawing.
