Runners to Tackle Urban and Coastal Route in Iconic City

The Barcelona Half Marathon, known locally as the “Mitja Marató Barcelona,” is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 14 February 2027. The race will begin at 8:30am from the start line at Passeig Picasso in Barcelona.

Race Route Details

The event is described as one of the most complete races on the international calendar, featuring a course that combines urban and coastal scenery through the heart of Barcelona. The route will take participants through several notable landmarks and areas, including:

Starting at the Arc de Triomf
Passing by the old town towards Plaça Catalunya
Continuing down the famous La Rambla
Along Avenida del Paral·lel
Heading towards the Fòrum area
Running along the beach at Parc de la Ciutadella
Returning to the Arc de Triomf
