Easyfundraising Offers New Fundraising Opportunity for Leeds Charities
November 26, 2025Local groups invited to learn about online donations from retailers
Charities and community organisations in Leeds have the opportunity to discover how they can raise funds through easyfundraising, the UK’s largest charity shopping platform. An online event on 3 November 2025 will introduce local groups to the scheme, which enables supporters to generate donations for good causes while shopping online.
How easyfundraising works
easyfundraising allows supporters of charities and community groups to raise money simply by shopping online as usual. By starting their shopping journey on the easyfundraising cause page linked to their chosen organisation, users can trigger a small donation from participating retailers. These donations come at no extra cost to the shopper.
Since its launch, easyfundraising has helped raise over £38 million for a wide range of groups across the UK, including community organisations, sports clubs, schools, PTAs, and charities both large and small.
