Farhana’s grandparents made Malawi their home many years ago, and her parents were born there before moving to Britain. This migration has created a family tree that reaches beyond the UK and India to include Eastern and Southern Africa, as well as Caribbean nations such as Barbados, Panama, and Grenada. These places, though distant, remain connected through family stories and memories passed down through generations.
