Free Winter Vaccinations Available to Eligible Groups

Protecting Against Flu, Covid-19 and RSV This Winter

As winter approaches, the risk of contracting respiratory viruses such as influenza (flu), Covid-19, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) increases. These viruses can cause serious illness, particularly in vulnerable populations. The NHS is offering free vaccinations to certain groups to help reduce the impact of these infections during the colder months.

Eligibility for Free Flu Vaccinations

The free flu vaccine is available to people who meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Are aged 65 years or over
  • Have a weakened immune system or long-term health conditions
  • Are a carer or live with someone who has a weakened immune system
  • Are pregnant
  • Are children aged 2 or 3 years old

Eligibility for Free Covid-19 Vaccinations

Free Covid-19 vaccinations are offered to:

  • People aged 75 years and over
  • Individuals with a weakened immune system
  • Residents in care homes for older adults

RSV Vaccinations

Vaccinations against respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) are available for:

  • Pregnant women from 28 weeks of pregnancy onwards
  • Adults aged 75 to 79 years

How to Book Your Vaccination
