Leeds Hospitals Charity Announces 2025/26 Funding Programme

Leeds Hospitals Charity has revealed its funding programme for 2025/26, which will provide over £3 million in additional financial support to Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The funding is intended to assist NHS staff in delivering high-quality care to more than one million patients and their families each year.
Scope of the funding
The charity works in partnership with local communities, schools, and businesses to raise funds that supplement NHS resources. The 2025/26 funding programme will be open to all staff across the hospitals within the Trust, offering a range of opportunities throughout the year.
First funding opportunity: Enhancing the healing environment
The initial funding round focuses on improving the patient experience by enhancing the healing environment within hospital settings. This initiative aims to support projects that take a holistic approach to patient care, encouraging creative and therapeutic environments.

- Focus: Projects that contribute to the best possible experience for patients
