Leeds Hospitals Charity has announced the successful applications for its Patient Experience Grant for the first quarter of the 2024/25 financial year. The grant scheme, which is now closed for new applications, aimed to support projects that directly enhance the experience of patients treated at Leeds Teaching Hospitals.

The Patient Experience Grant invited proposals for a range of projects and initiatives with funding requests between £75 and £7,500. The projects were expected to have an impact over the next 12 to 18 months and align with the charity’s focus on patient benefit. The scheme prioritised projects that could improve service delivery and clinical outcomes for patients.
Key focus areas
Applications were particularly encouraged if they demonstrated potential benefits across multiple specialties, patient groups, or teams. The charity also highlighted three main areas of focus for the grant:

- Innovation and health technology
