Leeds Launches Free Prevent Training Sessions for January 2026
January 6, 2026New training opportunities aim to raise awareness on extremism and related issues
Leeds City Council has announced the availability of free Prevent training sessions for January 2026. These sessions are designed to support individuals and organisations in recognising and responding to signs of radicalisation and extremism.
Details of the January 2026 Prevent Training Offer
The training programme includes several courses, some of which are new or updated for this session. The courses available are:
- Prevent Awareness Training
- Online Radicalisation and Extremism Training
- Misogyny, the Manosphere and Incel Movement Training
All training sessions will be delivered remotely via Microsoft Teams, allowing participants to join from various locations. Attendance is free of charge.
