New Committee Members Sought for Leeds LGBTQ+ Housing Project

Opportunity to Join Pride of Place Living Committee

Pride of Place Living, a community-led initiative focused on developing safe and multi-generational housing for LGBTQ+ individuals in Leeds, is currently seeking new members to join its committee, including the role of Chair.

About Pride of Place Living

The project aims to provide housing solutions that cater specifically to the needs of LGBTQ+ people in the Leeds area. It has received national recognition and awards for its work and enjoys support from key institutions within Leeds and West Yorkshire. Funding for the project is currently provided by the National Lottery.

Committee Membership Details

The committee is looking for individuals who identify as LGBTQ+ or allies who have a strong interest in supporting the community and possess strategic thinking skills. Experience in one or more of the following areas would be beneficial:

• Housing
• Law
• Finance
• Project management

These roles are voluntary and provide an opportunity to contribute to a community-focused housing initiative.
