New Flint Family Fund Supports Early Years in Leeds
October 14, 2025Funding available for projects aiding pre-natal to early childhood development
A new grant fund has been launched in Leeds to support community groups working with families during the pre-natal, post-natal, and early years stages. The Flint Family Fund, a partnership between Leeds Community Foundation and the Flint family, aims to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for parents and children in the city.
Focus and eligibility
The fund prioritises projects that benefit children up to the age of five and their parents, with a particular emphasis on those living in Leeds neighbourhoods with high numbers of young children in low-income families. It encourages applications from groups supporting under-represented communities, including LGBTQIA+ individuals, racially minoritised people, and those who are d/Deaf or disabled.
Applicants must ensure their activities complement existing services rather than duplicate statutory provision. Only one application per organisation will be considered.
