New HR training sessions available for local businesses

The West Yorkshire Combined Mayoral Authority is providing fully funded human resources (HR) training days for employers based in West Yorkshire. This initiative is delivered in partnership with Leeds College of Building and aims to support local businesses in enhancing their HR capabilities.

Details of the training sessions

• Training is exclusively available to businesses located within West Yorkshire.
• Sessions will be led by HR professionals, providing expert guidance and practical knowledge.
• The first training day is scheduled for Monday, 9 February 2026, at Leeds College of Building.
• Training events will continue through to Tuesday, 3 March 2026.
• Each session runs from 9am to 5pm.
