Guiseley AFC have secured the services of Ed Devine on a one-month loan from Hull City. The 19-year-old left-back is set to make his debut for the Lions in their forthcoming match against Warrington Rylands.

Player Background

Ed Devine has been associated with Hull City since 2023, having rejoined the club after initially being released eight years prior. His football journey began at Hull City’s academy at the under-9 level before moving to Scunthorpe United two years later. At Scunthorpe, he progressed through the youth ranks before returning to Hull City to join their under-18 side on a two-year scholarship.

During his scholarship, Devine featured regularly for Hull City’s under-18 team in his first year and made his under-21 debut in a Premier League Cup match against Brighton & Hove Albion. In his second year, he continued to appear for both the under-18 and under-21 sides. He also captained the under-18 team on several occasions during the 2024/25 season.

In April 2025, Devine was awarded his first professional contract with Hull City. This loan move to Guiseley represents his first temporary transfer as a professional player.
