Guiseley AFC Sign Forward Mo Fadera on Loan

Guiseley AFC have confirmed the signing of 21-year-old forward Mo Fadera on loan from York City. The player will remain with the club until the end of the current season, providing additional pace and attacking threat for manager Ian Richards’ squad.
Player Background and Career
Mo Fadera joined York City in September 2024 after impressing against them in a pre-season friendly. His performance in that match earned him a trial and subsequent signing by then York manager Adam Hinshelwood.
Before joining York, Fadera began his football career with Hamilton Panthers in York and later moved to Garforth. Since signing for York, he has had loan spells at Farsley Celtic and Worksop Town, gaining experience across various levels of non-league football.
Previous Loan Spell at Scunthorpe United
During the 2024-25 season, Fadera spent time on loan at Scunthorpe United, a National League North club. Initially joining in January 2025, his loan was extended until the end of that season. He made 19 appearances for Scunthorpe, scoring three goals, and contributed to the club’s promotion via the play-offs.
Departures from Guiseley

- Archie Christie-Crainie, a winger on loan from Sheffield United, featured in all eight matches during his time at Guiseley and scored on his debut in a 3-1 victory against Stocksbridge Park Steels.
- Lewis Gould, on loan from Barnsley, made five appearances before returning to South Yorkshire.
