October 10, 2026New addition aims to strengthen squad depth
Guiseley AFC has confirmed the signing of 21-year-old defender Noah Wadsworth from Buxton. The player, who primarily operates as a right back, is also capable of playing across the defensive line and in midfield positions.
Player background and career history
Wadsworth began his football career in the youth system at Bradford City, known as Valley Parade, before gaining experience in senior football outside the League One club. During his time at Bradford City, he was loaned out to Tadcaster Albion and Farsley Celtic. His loan at Farsley Celtic was notable, as it prompted a recall by Bradford City manager Graham Alexander.
He made two senior appearances for Bradford City in League Two, coming off the bench in matches against Gillingham and Harrogate Town. At the conclusion of the 2023/24 season, Wadsworth left Bradford City and signed for Hull City.
While with Hull City, he spent two years developing his skills and gaining further senior football experience through loan spells at Chester, Boston United, and Scarborough Athletic.
