First Win for Ian Richards as Guiseley Manager

Guiseley AFC recorded a 1-0 victory over Workington at Borough Park on Tuesday evening, marking Ian Richards’ first win as the club’s manager. The match, played in challenging wet conditions, saw Jack Emmett score the only goal of the game.

The game was delayed by 15 minutes due to the Guiseley team arriving late following traffic delays on their journey from West Yorkshire. Despite the wet pitch passing two inspections, the surface proved difficult, with players slipping frequently throughout the match.
