Before joining LCB, Natalie Dodds held the position of Director of Campus at Rotherham College, part of the RNN Group. She has also served as Academy Director for Building Technologies at The Sheffield College. Currently, she is Chair of the Yorkshire and Humber British Association of Construction Heads (BACH), a role that has involved collaboration with various educational and industry stakeholders.
Throughout her career, Ms Dodds has worked with Combined Authorities, governance boards, industry partners, and government departments to support strategic priorities aimed at benefiting learners and employers in the construction sector.

Rob Holmes, Vice Principal at LCB, commented on the appointment, noting that Ms Dodds’ leadership experience and strong regional and national networks position her well to lead the next phase of CTEC’s development. Ms Dodds joins LCB at a significant moment, following the recent launch of the regional CTEC network at the Royal Armouries Museum. This network includes 22 partner colleges, referred to as ‘spokes’, collaborating to deliver construction training across the region.
The CTEC regional delivery plans aim to address barriers within the construction industry, focusing on increasing participation from underrepresented groups and supporting current workers to develop new skills and career progression opportunities.
