Local partnership invites views on adult safeguarding

The Leeds Safeguarding Adults Board, a collaboration of organisations dedicated to protecting adults with care and support needs from abuse and neglect, is currently seeking feedback from the public and professionals across the city. The board aims to use this input to inform and improve its safeguarding work and initiatives.

Who is invited to participate?

The board has issued separate questionnaires tailored to different groups within the community:

  • Members of the public: To assess awareness of the various forms of abuse and how to access support to remain safe.
  • Workers in voluntary, community, social enterprise, commissioned services, care providers, and education sectors: To gather experiences and suggestions related to safeguarding adults in Leeds.
  • Staff in statutory services: Including Leeds City Council, NHS, West Yorkshire Police, West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, HM Prison and Probation Service, and Advonet, to collect their perspectives and recommendations on safeguarding adults.

How to participate and deadline

The questionnaires are designed to be completed in a few minutes and are available online. Participants are encouraged to select the questionnaire most relevant to their role or experience.

The surveys will remain open until Wednesday 15 April 2026.

Further information and access to the questionnaires can be found on the Doing Good Leeds website.
