Leeds Involving People is hosting a Winter Warmer event on Tuesday 2nd December 2025, offering local residents an opportunity to contribute to the design of Leeds’ new bus fleet. The event will take place from 12pm to 3pm at Roscoe Methodist Church Hall, Chapeltown Road, LS7 4EE.
Consultation on new bus design with West Yorkshire Combined Authority
The event includes a consultation led by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) focusing on the design and accessibility of new buses planned for Leeds. This consultation follows work undertaken earlier in the year as part of the Local Transport Plan.
WYCA seeks feedback on various aspects of the new buses, including:
- Seating arrangements
- Bus layout
- Accessibility features
- Flooring materials
- Audio alerts
- Space allocation for wheelchairs and prams

Alongside the consultation, attendees can enjoy a world foods buffet and participate in festive activities in a relaxed environment. British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters will be available to support communication during the event.
Lunch will be provided to all attendees, who will also receive a £10 voucher as a thank you for their participation. While booking is not essential, organisers have requested that those planning to attend register via Eventbrite to assist with catering arrangements.
