Full back to remain with the Lions for 2026/27 season

Guiseley AFC has confirmed that Kyle White will continue with the club for the 2026/27 season after signing a new contract. The 22-year-old full back joined the Lions midway through the previous campaign and will now embark on his first full season with the team.

Player background and career history

Kyle White was born in Burnley and began his football career with AFC Darwen’s youth setup. In 2021, he moved to AFC Blackpool, where he featured for both the youth and first teams before transferring to Guiseley in January 2022.

Prior to joining Guiseley, White spent two and a half years with Fleetwood Town, making six first team appearances. Initially a midfielder, he transitioned to left back during his time at Fleetwood. He made his professional debut in a League One match against Plymouth Argyle, contributing to a 2-1 home victory. White also appeared in league matches against Bolton Wanderers and Ipswich Town during the 2022/23 season.

His cup appearances include coming on as a substitute in the Carabao Cup fixtures against Everton and Wigan Athletic, as well as featuring in the Vertu Motors Trophy against Barrow.
